Courthouse Visitor's Policy
- All visitors must show a photo ID issued by a government agency, such as a driver’s license or state ID card.
- All visitors will be screened by walking through a magnetometer. Visitors must remove keys, coins, wallets, and other items from pockets, and may be asked to remove any belts, watches, jewelry items, and/or shoes.
- All belongings including purses, briefcases, backpacks, and other personal items will be screened through an x-ray machine.
- Visitors may bring electronic devices into the Courthouse. However, taking photographs inside the Courthouse, making audio and video recordings, and/or broadcasting federal court proceedings is prohibited. All devices that may potentially be used for photography, recording, or broadcasting must be inactive or off while in attendance at a court proceeding. No cameras (without other functionality) are permitted inside the Courthouse under any circumstances. Photography and recorded interviews are permitted only outside the Courthouse.
